Do they have homecare services?

Yes, but home care can take many forms – from nursing care to personal support [attendant care]. In order to determine what services are right for you, the CCAC will set up an assessment with a Care Coordinator. Call your local CCAC to make a referral and we'll get you started down the right path.

How do I get started?

It's easy to get started. You can call the CCAC, or a referral can be made by your doctor, nurse, community service provider or other health-care professional. You can also ask a family member, a friend or a neighbour to call the CCAC. A CCAC Care Coordinator will talk with you to understand your health care needs and to discuss options for your care. These options may include different services provided by the CCAC and/or services available from other organizations, including publicly-funded and private care.
